What it is, and where it comes from
It is the red that gives its name to the house's line, in a one and a half liter format. The magnum is not just double the size: it's the bottle you open when there are many people at the table, and the one that ages more calmly.
IGT Toscana from the Pisan hills between Crespina Lorenzana and Fauglia. Hand-picked, selection of grapes in the field, minimal interventions in the cellar, with fermentation temperature and time on the skins as the only levers.

Who makes it, and where
Fattoria Uccelliera, in Crespina Lorenzana.
Made on the Pisan hills.
Two hundred and forty hectares between Crespina Lorenzana and Fauglia, twenty-one of them vineyard and olive grove.
“Uccelliera” is a medieval place name: it marked the hill where an old bird-catching stand once stood, a set-up for taking migrating birds. Today that same piece of hill does the opposite, and the arable land is farmed with the wildlife that passes through in mind.
