Shipping policy
This policy summarises how shipping and delivery work on Tuscany Market Hub. The full rules are set out in Article 8 of the Conditions of Sale, which prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
Two methods, chosen in the cart
Before checkout the Buyer chooses between home delivery via Partner Courier (Mail Boxes Etc. and related carriers) and pickup at the stall of a market trader belonging to the project circuit, at one of the active Markets.
Shipping always applies
Even when Market pickup is selected, the product travels: it leaves the Producer's workshop and reaches the market trader's stall. Market pickup does not remove the shipment — it changes where it ends.
Each Producer ships from their own premises
Tuscany Market Hub brings together different Producers, each with their own workshop. An Order containing products from more than one Producer therefore travels in separate shipments, and the shipping cost is calculated for each of them. The total is always shown at checkout, before payment.
Cost
Product prices do not include shipping. The cost is calculated at checkout on the basis of the destination and the delivery method selected, is indicated separately before payment, and is borne by the Buyer.
Where we ship
Italy and European Union countries.
Delivery times
Delivery times are estimates and are communicated during checkout and in the Order Confirmation. They may vary depending on the destination, product availability at the Producer, and events not attributable to the Marketplace or the Partner Courier: force majeure, adverse weather conditions, strikes.
On delivery
The Buyer is invited to check the integrity of the packaging. Any discrepancies, visible damage or shortages must be reported to the Courier and to the Marketplace customer care within the terms and in the manner provided by applicable law. Contact details are on the Contact page.
Market pickup, in brief
When the product is available at the stall, the market trader contacts the Buyer at the phone number indicated in the Order to arrange the date and time slot. At pickup the Buyer presents a valid identification document and the Order reference, and signs the pickup receipt.
Articles 8.2 and 8.3 of the Conditions of Sale set out the deadlines within which pickup must be arranged and completed, and the consequences of failure to pick up: they should be read before choosing this method.
