Slow-cooked in our own kitchen, or chosen at the stall by La famiglia Fiaschi, in Campi Bisenzio.

In short

A pasta pot with a built-in colander, a package of Tuscan pasta, and a jar of sauce of your choice from the "Ricette di Famiglia" line. It's a complete dinner kit, and you get to choose the sauce: nine options, from pomarola to mutton ragu, and the price changes depending on your selection.

The pot has a perforated lid and drains itself, so you don't even need a separate colander. All the sauces are made without added preservatives, cooked by the company in Campi Bisenzio.

In the kitchen

Goes well with As a housewarming gift, which is when a pot comes in handy. Or as a ready-made dinner when you still feel like cooking.

Sapori della Rocca

A family delicatessen in Campi Bisenzio, on the edge of Firenze, with roots going back to the late nineteenth century and to the shop where they sold food, poured wine and cooked. The Ricette di Famiglia line — pasta sauces, ragù, condiments and soups — comes from the family's home recipes, brought back into the kitchen and reworked in a modern key. Tuscan cured meats and cheeses are not made here: they are chosen one by one, and that is the trade it all started from. Every week the family is in eight squares between Firenze and Prato, with two traveling vans.
