Collection Fiore d'Inverno·Anello·Floral motif drawn from winter flowers
Three corollas in a row across the finger, and each one turns on itself.
Drawn and built by hand at the bench, in Tosi.
Three silver corollas in a row along the finger, of three different sizes, and none of them is fixed: each is threaded onto a pin and turns on itself. The largest carries the citrine, the middle one the blue topaz, the third the purple amethyst — but the flowers turn, and the pattern you see from above is never twice the same. Inside the cup the surface stays marked by the folds that run out from the center; the rim is wavy and out of true, left where the first fold put it. The band is not smooth: it is hammered, and beneath the flowers it opens into two arms.
Twenty-two grams of 925 silver and forty-eight millimeters of span: the ring takes the whole knuckle and rises above the line of the finger. The pins are the part that decides the piece, because they have to hold the corollas and at the same time leave them free; they are riveted from the back, and the flattened head shows at the center of each flower. The seats for the stones are in the middle of the cup, and they are the only flat point left in a sheet hollowed by hand. The studio states neither the carat weight nor the cut of the three gems.
Weights and carats as the workshop declares them.

The words of the trade, one by one, explained to those who do not know them.
I don't look at what others are doing: I would rather create in my own style. That is what makes our jewelry recognizable.
Fabio Gori — Anna Gioielli, Tosi
Every ring is made to the size of the person who will wear it: we settle it together before work begins.
The goldsmith's workshop is also the place where made-to-measure jewellery is created and family pieces are restored: if you have an idea, or something you want brought back to how it was, that is where it starts.
A goldsmith's workshop in Tosi, on the slopes of the Pratomagno: Anna opened it in 1988, her sons Fabio and Francesco carry it on. Piercing, repoussé, chasing and burin engraving — the Florentine school, with the workshop in full view of the shop.
