Collection Fiore d'Inverno·Collana·Floral motif inspired by winter flowers
Eleven silver corollas, and three fall at the center one below the other.
Drawn and built by hand at the bench, in Tosi.
Eleven silver corollas, and they do not all sit on the same plane: across the front they stand side by side and overlap one another, then three fall at the center one below the other and make the cascade. At the sides the chain picks up again, and on each side it carries one more flower on its own before closing behind the neck. The rim of every corolla stays wavy and out of square, the folds start at the center and go outwards, the cup is shallow. At the center of each there is a single stone: the purple of the amethyst and the blue of the topaz on the large corollas, the orange of the citrine quartz on the small ones.
Sixty grams of 925 silver over fifty-two centimeters: the weight is not spread evenly, it is nearly all across the front where the flowers touch, and the chain behind is only there to fasten. The cascade is jointed — each corolla hangs from the one before by a small ring — so it moves on its own and does not stay still on the chest. The seats of the stones are in the middle of the cup, and they are the only point that in a sheet hollowed by hand had to stay flat. The studio does not state either the carat weight or the cut of any of the gems.
Weights and carats as the workshop declares them.

The words of the trade, one by one, explained to those who do not know them.
I don't look at what others are doing: I would rather create in my own style. That is what makes our jewelry recognizable.
Fabio Gori — Anna Gioielli, Tosi
Every piece leaves the bench made to order: sizes and details are agreed before the work begins.
The goldsmith's workshop is also the place where made-to-measure jewellery is created and family pieces are restored: if you have an idea, or something you want brought back to how it was, that is where it starts.
A goldsmith's workshop in Tosi, on the slopes of the Pratomagno: Anna opened it in 1988, her sons Fabio and Francesco carry it on. Piercing, repoussé, chasing and burin engraving — the Florentine school, with the workshop in full view of the shop.
