What it is
Of the two house blends, Intenso is the full-bodied one: you can taste it in the cup, and it doesn't disappear under milk.
Here, it's finely ground for the espresso machine. Under pressure, water passes through the grounds in twenty-five seconds: if the grind is too coarse, it passes through without extracting anything, if it's too fine, it stops. The small bag is finished before the ground coffee loses its aroma.
