Sixteen millimeters of corolla, purple inside the yellow
Drawn and built by hand at the bench, in Tosi.
A silver corolla of sixteen millimeters, the rim left wavy and polished, and inside it the yellow of the enamel laid over the grooves that run out from the center. At the center a round amethyst in a plain setting: purple on yellow, the two furthest colors the collection puts together. The shank is hammered.
Six and a half grams of silver in all. The purple of the amethyst is the most delicate part of the piece: it stands up to scratches better than the silver that holds it, but it does not stand up to heat, and under a strong enough flame it would turn yellow for good.
Weights and carats as the workshop declares them.

The words of the trade, one by one, explained to those who do not know them.
I don't look at what others are doing: I would rather create in my own style. That is what makes our jewelry recognizable.

Every ring is made in the size of the person who will wear it: we settle it together before the work begins.
The goldsmith's workshop is also the place where made-to-measure jewellery is created and family pieces are restored: if you have an idea, or something you want brought back to how it was, that is where it starts.
A goldsmith's workshop in Tosi, on the slopes of the Pratomagno: Anna opened it in 1988, her sons Fabio and Francesco carry it on. Piercing, repoussé, chasing and burin engraving — the Florentine school, with the workshop in full view of the shop.
