This beer

What it is, and what is in it

Four point nine degrees, opalescent. It's a session NEIPA: the low alcohol content and contained bitterness are there so you can drink more than one.

In the recipe, in addition to barley malt, there's rye, oats, and wheat. These give it the velvety body and opalescence that the style requires - the turbidity isn't a residue, it's intentional. The hops are Mosaic, Citra, Ekuanot, and Sabro. On the nose, mango and passionfruit; in the mouth, tropical fruit, citrus, and a light resin, with a dry finish.

It's released in cans.

How it is made
Production, maturation, and packaging take place at the facility on via Cimarosa, in Livorno, where the brewery also hosts guided tours and tastings. The brewery presents itself as craft: under Italian law, the term mandates a non-pasteurized and non-microfiltered beer, produced by an independent brewery. The catalog is divided into three declared categories - Core Range, Year Round, The Fun Part - depending on whether the beer is always available, matures for a long time, or is a one-time release.
