What it is, and what is in it
Four and a half degrees, sixteen Plato, straw yellow. It's a bottom-fermented beer, and the brewery states they've discontinued their Pils and Keller to concentrate production on this one.
It's hopped exclusively with noble German hops, also used in dry hopping: cold, after fermentation, where they impart aroma but not bitterness. The result is herbaceous, floral, and cereal on the nose; on the palate, the herbaceous notes return with a slight citrus and a hint of tea, and the finish is dry and bitter without straying from the style.
Third place at the 2024 Birra dell'Anno (Beer of the Year) by Unionbirrai. Available in cans.
