Here the rose is not the pendant: it is the stud. A solid orange resin rose, set at the ear, and below it a long drop in the same orange, smooth and glossy, falling straight down.
The orange is saturated, without gradation: the rose and the drop are exactly the same colour, and only the shape tells them apart.
They are the longest in the rose series, and the liveliest.

Antonella Dondoli and her daughter Cristina Ulivi have been making handmade costume jewelry for more than fifteen years: hardstone, pearls, crystals, Murano glass and resin. The business, L'Arte di Creare, dates from 2012 and is based in Firenze. The stall travels between markets and fairs, in Tuscany and beyond.
