A round gilt button, with a crown of rhinestones set around the central hole, and below it a silver wire bent into two scrolls that face each other — one above, one below, like a signature.
At the bottom, after a worked bead, hangs a dark faceted drop, almost black, which turns and changes its light with every movement of the head.
In the photograph they are being worn: you can see how far they really fall, and how they line up with the neck.

Antonella Dondoli and her daughter Cristina Ulivi have been making handmade costume jewelry for more than fifteen years: hardstone, pearls, crystals, Murano glass and resin. The business, L'Arte di Creare, dates from 2012 and is based in Firenze. The stall travels between markets and fairs, in Tuscany and beyond.
