A stone that only lights up if you turn it

Reserved here, collected at the stall
This piece is made by hand and lives on the market stall: it doesn’t go into the basket, it gets reserved. Write what you need here — the request reaches Tuscany Market Hub and we pass it on to L’Arte di Creare, who will tell you whether it’s still there, what it costs and where to collect it.

An oval grey-green cabochon, closed in a notched silver-tone bezel, set at the centre of an oval-link chain. The stone is dull while it stays still: turn it, and a band of cold light passes through it.
Below, on the table, the earrings from the same series: a triangular hammered silver-tone button and, hanging from it, a drop of the same stone in its own bezel.
In the same photograph there is also the workshop’s card, and a framed sign saying something useful: «we can restring bracelets and necklaces by appointment».

Antonella Dondoli and her daughter Cristina Ulivi have been making handmade costume jewelry for more than fifteen years: hardstone, pearls, crystals, Murano glass and resin. The business, L'Arte di Creare, dates from 2012 and is based in Firenze. The stall travels between markets and fairs, in Tuscany and beyond.
