Kerstin Rauch works clay in a small studio on the hills of Reggello, with the window on the olive groves: the colors and textures of that landscape are the matrix of what comes out of the kiln. Vases, wind chimes, hanging planters, hand-painted tiles, cat-shaped salt cellars. Every piece is modeled, painted and glazed by hand, and no two are the same.
