The authors' intention in creating the "Read & Play" series is to offer support to anyone committed to enriching the lives of young people with important, meaningful experiences.

Play, as a representation of reality and an articulated motor expression (and more), as well as fables, stories, novellas, and fairy tales, accompanies children throughout their childhood; for this reason, they are a formidable vehicle for the education, learning, and development of little ones.

Anyone who has spent time with children knows how much their attention is captured when listening to a story and how enthusiastically they participate in play, in whatever form it takes.

Learning, as is well known, occurs and consolidates more effectively when there is emotional participation, when one is a protagonist, and when one achieves the pleasure of doing things.

In play, as in reading or listening, emotion and engagement are a very important key that should not be wasted.

In this first volume of the "Read & Play" series, which is a true educational project, six illustrated stories are proposed, paired with six corresponding manuals of group motor games.
