Al Bottegone di Franco e Pupa
A neighborhood food shop in Livorno, opened by Franco in via Demi in 1977 and carried on by his sons Federico and Riccardo. Federico chooses the cured meats, the cheeses and the wine, and has been a FISAR sommelier since 2008; Riccardo goes to the market every morning for the fruit and vegetables, and has done for more than twenty-five years. Since 2015 there has been a wine shop next door, today with more than a hundred labels. The gift hampers are put together and wrapped by hand in the shop.
