Turquoise spheres, large and even, separated by tiny white grains, and at the centre a hanging heart: domed, in the same turquoise, engraved in relief with a spray of flowers and a butterfly settling on it.
The engraving is shallow and only reads close up — from a distance the heart is a solid mass of colour.
It is a short necklace, sitting on the collarbone.

The business, L'Arte di Creare, dates from 2012 and is based in Firenze. The stall travels between markets and fairs, in Tuscany and beyond.
