The capsule fits Lavazza Point machines. It is not an original Lavazza Point capsule: inside is the roastery’s own Intense blend, roasted in Calenzano. The brand is named here only to say which machine it works with.
What it is
There's a good irony in a 1920s roastery making capsules. But that's exactly the business: people drink coffee this way, and those who have been roasting it for a century can put their own blend in instead of leaving the field to those who don't make blends.
This is the Intenso in single-dose version: it's the robusta that gives it body and dark crema.

- How it is roasted
- Traditional oak wood roasting, maintained for over four generations: the wood is added to the roaster's stove and the heat rises from one hundred to two hundred and ten degrees within twenty minutes, in a gradual increase.
