What is on the stall

Honey is the main production: harvested in limited quantities following the blossoms of the Valdarno hills, worked by hand and sold directly. Every year comes out different, and on the stall there is whatever the season gave.

The extra virgin olive oil is the product the farm started from: it comes from reclaimed olive groves, in quantities that depend on the year.

Alongside there are the olive oil and beeswax ointments and the herbal teas with olive leaves.

Where to find them

The calendar is the shop: one fixed square, the stall is there when the market is.

  1. Wednesday Montevarchi Piazza Varchi 8:00–13:00

The company

La Foresta. A farm in Montevarchi, in the Valdarno: since 2021 it has been bringing back almost four hundred centuries-old olive trees left abandoned for years, grown without chemical treatments and converting to certified organic. The olives are picked by hand and cold pressed within a few hours. Beside the groves an apiary of more than fifty hives, stationary beekeeping: hive care, harvesting, extraction, jarring and packing are all done on the farm, by hand.
