Where it comes from
It's the house amaro, the one from the taproom bar: outside the beer, but under the same brand.
The brewery describes it as light and modern. On the nose, Mediterranean pastry, lemon, rhubarb, and licorice. In the mouth, the bitterness comes from gentian and is mild, balanced by the softer side of the other spices.
The brewery does not publish the list of herbs. The bottle size and the alcohol content, on the other hand, are printed on the label: seventy centilitres, twenty-two degrees.

Who makes it, and where
Piccolo Birrificio Clandestino, in Livorno.
Neither pasteurized nor micro-filtered.
Brewed and poured in via Cimarosa, in Livorno
The first craft brewery in Livorno, opened in 2010. Production and taproom are in via Cimarosa; before that it was via Solferino and via Nicolodi, and every move meant a bigger plant. Since 2024 the group also runs a place on the cliffs.
- How it is made
- Production, maturation, and packaging take place at the facility on via Cimarosa, in Livorno, where the brewery also hosts guided tours and tastings. The brewery presents itself as craft: under Italian law, the term mandates a non-pasteurized and non-microfiltered beer, produced by an independent brewery. The catalog is divided into three declared categories - Core Range, Year Round, The Fun Part - depending on whether the beer is always available, matures for a long time, or is a one-time release.
