It is held by a closed silver bezel, a smooth ring that goes all around and folds over the edge of the stone: it is the only regular line of the piece. Everything else is silver open with irregular voids — overlapping branches, round and oval holes of different sizes, points that end in flattened pellets — and no void resembles the one next to it. The backgrounds remain black, the reliefs are repolished: the design comes forward by contrast, as in all Marte pieces. To the upper left of the turquoise, nestled between two branches, is a single diamond, raised by the prongs of a yellow gold bezel: it is the only gold point of the pendant.
